Season 4 — The Great Flood
Season 4 takes place thousands of years after a catastrophic nuclear reactor failure triggered The Great Flood.
After centuries of relentless rain, most of the old world disappeared beneath the ocean. Humanity survived only in isolated communities on the highest remaining peaks.
Now the rain has stopped and the waters have begun to recede.
Players emerge into a dramatically changed world dominated by oceans, scattered islands, ruined settlements, and remnants of the civilization that existed before the flood.
Server Philosophy
Peps SMP Season 4 is built around exploration, colonization, cooperation, trade, conflict, and rebuilding civilization.
Rather than simply progressing through the server as quickly as possible, players are encouraged to become part of the world and its developing history.
You can:
- Explore islands and the remains of the old world
- Form or join a colony
- Claim territory
- Build settlements and ports
- Establish trade routes
- Travel and trade by ship
- Create alliances and rivalries
- Participate in consensual roleplay conflicts
- Search ruins for resources and forgotten technology
- Develop your colony's own identity, laws, and history
Season 4 is designed to let the actions of players shape the world.
Every settlement, colony, alliance, conflict, trading route, and major project becomes part of the continuing story of Peps SMP.
The old world is gone. The new one is yours to rebuild.
